Violet: Scarlett looks so happy.
Corbin: Yeah, they both do.

V: It's great to have a new member of the family who brings us luck.
C: As long as we don't burn her.
V: Or tape her eyes open.

V: Hey! Where are you going?

C: You've given me an idea - I'm going to tape my eyes open and play tourneys for 72 hours straight.

I wanted to work in something about Corbin hearing that if you stay awake for more than 48 hours your brain goes into a kind of semi-concious trance state where you can't lose. But there isn't room. Also, Violet would have to look angry instead of happy in the last frame.

Just to let anyone know who might care, I decided to do a totally new strip for Monday. I received five or six submissions through e-mail for dialogue, thought a couple of them were all right, and I might use that art for a comic at some point, not sure when.
