| Seeing this thread on the Chip Talk forums made me think about making some custom chips featuring characters from the strip. Just wondering how many people here would be interested in possibly purchasing something like that, maybe even just one chip (pick a character) as a card protector/collector's item. |

I'd buy them in a heartbeat, very cool. _________________ I'm going to stab you now.

I gotta say I think it's too soon for something as expensive as chips.
As a card protector maybe.
Seems like there aren't even enough characters yet to make a set of chips of any reasonable number of denominations.
I enjoy the strip, and the characters, but you might want to start with something a little easier at first, like a cafepress.com store with some t-shirts or something.
Just an idea. Keep up the good work. |

| yeah its a cool idea but chips are really expensive, and the weight of them makes shipping insane, Id tottally take one as a card protector though. |

At that site I can make 100 chips for $139 -- not bad at all. And I was thinking of Scarlett on the $1s, Corbin on the $5s, Violet on the $25s and Harold on the $100s. That works, doesn't it? I could make 25 of each chip maybe for the initial test run. And yes, a card protector is pretty much the only thing that we could use these for, since I wouldn't be making enough to start out with to actually use as a chip set. But that would come later hopefully. |
